Big Rapids’ girls golf team opened its season Wednesday and Thursday by placing 11th at the Traverse City Invitational.
Big Rapids shot a score of 435 on Wednesday and 420 on Thursday for a 855. They were 11th among 16 teams.
Alex Dawkins shot a 99 and 102 for Big Rapids.
Molly Schofield had scores of 108 and 97. Haley McKenna followed with 108 and 101 while Gina Weaver had 120 and 125, AJ Stephens 132 and 120 and Alayna Haugher 134 and 124.
