Crossroads soccer team defeated Walkerville 8-0 in semifinal action of the Division 4 district on Wednesday and will play in the finals on Friday.

Crossroads is 19-3 overall.

Caleb Bennett and Andrew Duddles scored the first two goals for Crossroads. Duddles, Tallak Brekke and Michael Hermes scored the next three goals for a 5-0 lead. Brooks Angeli scored twice and Duddles got the hat trick for Crossroads’ final three goals. Crossroads plays Hart Friday night at home for the district title.

 

Josh Yurick has been filling in as coach for Crossroads. Regular coach Ross Meads is ineligible for the postseason for missing a mandatory Michigan High School Athletic Association fall online rules meeting.
