Morley Stanwood’s volleyball team took a step toward another Central State Activities Association title with a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Chippewa Hills on Wednesday.

The Warriors took the first two games 25-23, 25-17 but Morley Stanwood won the next three 25-20, 25-13, 15-9.

Morley Stanwood can win its 11th straight league title by taking the next two league matches to end the season.

Kayla Rosman sparked the Morley Stanwood attack with 29 kills, 20 digs, and three kills while Mekayla Carey had two blocks and 13 kills, Lindsey Veersma added six kills and 36 assists and Jenne Kizer had three aces.

 

Hannah Guy led Chippewa Hills with 15 kills while Hali Earl had 13 digs and Callee Stirn had 20 service points.
