Lansing Sexton is 8-0 but it wasn’t easy Friday night. Sexton fired out to a 15-0 lead and had a 15-7 halftime advantage. Malik Mack passed 89 yards to Javon Cooney for Sexton’s first touchdown and Ja’Von Wray ran for two points. Cooney caught a 13-yard pass from Mack for Sexton’s second touchdown. 

In the fourth quarter, Wray had a 21-yard run for a 21-6 lead. Chelsea scored late in the fourth quarter but Sexton was able to keep the lead.

 

Mack passed 15 time and had five completions for 131 yards. Cooney caught four passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Rayshawn Wilborn had one catch for 14 yards. Wray rushed 17 times for 92 yards and a TD. Avonte Bell had two rushes for 73 yards and Mack four attempts for 70 yards. Shon Kuhn led the Sexton defense with six tackles. Raham Kuras had one interception.
