Rockford’s girls golf team completed one day of play in the Division 1 state finals on Friday but are in 15th place among 15 teams at 407. Plymouth is first at 358.
Lily Pendy of Grosse Pointe South is the leading golfer right now with a 74.
Tori Sobkowiak has a 97 to lead Rockford, followed by Abbi Anthony at 99, Aimee Hite at 100, Jourdan Sergent at 111 and Maddy Dougherty at 116.
Amanda Walsh of Midland qualified as an individual golfer and shot an 86.
The Division I finals are at Forest Akers West Golf Course on the campus of Michigan State University.
The second and final round is Saturday.
