Alex Grace picked a fine time to break the 2,000-career rushing mark for Swan Valley Friday night. Grace scampered for 276 yards on 21 attempts for five TDs in his team’s 42-14 win over Midland Bullock Creek. The victory gives the Vikings the Tri-Valley Conference Central Division title. Through the first eight game this season, Grace has 2,024 yards, 26 touchdowns on 189 carries.

Last season he had 2,148 yards and  27 touchdowns in 13 games for a team that wound up in the state semifinals.

 

Against Bullock Creek, Grace had scoring runs of 2, 36, 37 and 56 yards. Josh Flores had a 29-yard scoring run for Swan Valley.
