Ionia girls won the Red Division of the Chippewa Hills Invitational Saturday with 35 points, edging Chippewa Hills, which had 46 points.
For Ionia, Brittany Wright was fourth in 20:34.44, and Serena Lebo, Jenna Koelsch and Kiersten Reeves were seventh, eighth and ninth in 20:51.96, 20:55.42 and 20:58.82. Carson Yencher and Hanna Howard were 19th and 23rd in 22:2.93 and 22:47.66.
The Ionia boys were second in the Red Division, Fremont had a 35 while Ionia had a 40. The Bulldogs were fifth and sixth with Peter Pelon and Jorge Cardenas in 17:37.9 and 17:45.58. Dillon Braun Marshall Rademacer and Jordan Zamarron were 15th, 16th and 17th in 18:12.57, 18:12.89 and 18:13.18.
