Corunna takes a 6-3 record to the state football playoffs, but has a very tough first-round game to get things going this week. Corunna is playing a powerful Lansing Sexton team in the Division 4 Region 3, District 2 bracket. Sexton is 9-0 and has the No. 1 seed in the whole regional.

 

The winner will advance to the district finals next week against the winner of the Williamston at Lake Fenton first round battle. The regionals are Nov. 15-16, followed by the semifinals on Nov. 23. The Division 4 state finals are Nov. 29 at Ford Field in Detroit.
