Here are the results of our play this weekend at the St. Louis tournament on 9/22/18.
Pool Results:
Won against Chippewa Hills 25-22, 25-22.
Lost against St. Louis 12-25, 13-25.
We finished 2nd in our pool of 3 schools.
Seeding Results:
Won against Alma 25-21, 16-25, 15-13
The top 2 teams in all 4 pools advanced to the gold bracket. But first, we had to play a seeding match to determine what seed we would be going into the gold bracket. We played Alma who was also 2nd in their pool. With the win against Alma, we were listed as the 5th seed going into the the gold bracket.
Bracket Results:
Lost against PW (4th Seed) 9-25, 13-25
It was single elimination once we lost in bracket play, so that ended our tournament at St. Louis.

Brit Barrus had 51 assists, 22 digs, and 8 aces.
Logan Blemaster had 13 digs.
Julie Buck had 12 digs.
Mia Canfield had 21 digs, 17 kills, 5 blocks, and 2 aces.
Raye Eberhard had 23 digs, 5 assists, and made 17/17 serves.
Emma Jernstadt had 16 kills.
Lyndsi Wolfe had 22 kills, 17 digs, 13 blocks, and 3 aces.

Comments:
This was a tournament of ups and downs for us. We won 2 and lost 2 and played pretty competitive teams all day. We could have performed better during our match against St. Louis. I was happy to see us pull the win out against a tough Alma team in a 3rd set. We tend to struggle in deciding sets to 15, so I was glad to see us get that one. We did not help ourselves out with poor serving against PW as that was our worst serving match of the day. ~Holly Malek, Fulton Varsity Volleyball Coach
