Ionia’s swim team beat Lansing Waverly 92-88 on Thursday.
Highlights included for Ionia included
Courtney Lepien won the 200 yard freestyle and took 2nd in the 100 yard backstroke.
Madeline McGee won the 100 yard butterfly and the 100 yard breaststroke
Jillian Merrifield won the 100 yard freestyle and took 2nd in the 50 yard freestyle.
Jillian Swinehart took first in diving.
The relay team of Courtney Lepien, Ali Vasquez, Brynn Lepien, and Madeline McGee took first in the 200 freestyle relay.
