Mark Laseski: Comments The Redwings and Grand Ledge played even through much of the 1st quarter. The biggest lead of the quarter was 3 points by both teams. With the game tied at 11, Grand Ledge cored the final bucket of the 1st quarter to go up 13 -11. Grand Ledge extended their lead to 11, 24 – 13 mid-way through the 2nd quarter. St. Johns battled back and was able to cut the lead to 6, 26 – 20, however Grand Ledge scored the final basket of the quarter to take a 28 – 20 lead into half time. The Redwings came out in the 3rd quarter and still struggled to score. Grand Ledge continued to extend their lead in the 3rd and 4th quarters as they sealed the victory.
