The Midland Dow Varsity Volleyball team played hard against a very skilled Davison team.
Coach Ali Taylor: The Chargers came out a little slow to start the first game and lost 25-14. During the second game, we passed and hit the ball very well. Taylor Neuman, Taryn Williams, Jessica Erickson, and Summer Luick were very smart at the net and placed the ball where needed. We were able to do that offensively because of our strong defense. Chargers then lost the last game 25-7. Top Stats are: Summer Luick with 4 Kills 3 blocks, Taryn Williams with 3 Kills and 3 blocks, Taylor Neuman with 3 Kills, Jessica Erickson 2 Kills, 3 blocks, Alex Price with 15 Assists, Jade Remacle with 8 digs, Luci Fabiano with 7, Libby Avery, Alli Miller, and Alex Price with 5 digs each. Next game is at Bay City Central this Saturday for a tournament.
